IM HOME. :)
fourth overseas trip with peow. counting on blessing, we've met several nice people through this trip and i got to make a few new friends. at the very last day, some of us exchanged contact. though whether we will still be in touch is non-comfirmative, was the experience that has took its deserving slot in my memory. we had a very responsible and dutiful tour guide, he taught everyone alot and he's really incredibly knowledgeable. he even told us that drinking cocacola will bite away our calcium intake in us. he tried putting his child's baby tooth into a cocacola drink and a few days later, the tooth was wholly eaten up! long journey from (e.g.) hua lian to kaoshiung, it took us 8hours. lucky to have him to share funny and keen insights with us to keep most of us awake. haha but peow and i still cant resist the 'sleeping temptation', most of the time.
we've been to most places in taiwan like taichung, hualian, kaoshiung, tainan and taipei. their nature beauty is breath-taking. see my photos! we went to hotspring in the mountain top of tainan and also full body message. the experience at hotspring was amazing. very fun plus peow and my other new gf's company. talking about shopping, night markets there are fantasically crazy. you cant stop shopping and we cant stop buying too. spent alot and thanks to peow, i've got myself and my family even more stuff this time. we went there with two bags and came back with six. in emphasis, the stuff ratio is 5 (mine) : 1 (his). he would want to see this. yesternight we went to fetch my mum home from work and he was smiling away as my mum 'lectures' me about buying lesser the next time. he's my sweetie boy~ note: my two wardrobe cabinets are full. my maid is now finding ways to put my new clothings in. feeling a little guilty but i think im still on the happier weigh.
this trip isn't the best trip we had because we are gonna have even a better trip the next time. right dearie? i know that you want me to appreciate what you've done, just like i do. sometimes, i might just have think too much that cause some haywire issues to disrupt our steady frequency we've nurtured. just do remember i love you. for the us trip, his hp bill was here yesterday. it came up to nearly $600. as i complain about his affection; he says, "see most of these calls are yours, still say about me".
taiwan trip 2007. 23rd-30th may.
DAY one.

on the plane. a short 4hour ride on china air. at night was a short visit to xi meng ding and shihlin's night market. first day was SHORT.
DAY two. taipei.

the first hotel was rather closer to the supernormal type. paradise hotel at tainan. the only breakfast pic we took.

at the jiang jie shi's museum.

criticism on ah bian. haha.

police around to control the civilian revolt against ah bian.

my king.

at toufu street. stinky toufu! fried and soupy one (with pig blood). goshhh~ not too bad la, not that stinky after all.
at tamshui fisherman's wharf. the scenary can easily take your breath away. very windy too~~

a couple we get to know. :) get along rather well with the lady. her name is weiling. haha not LING.

at shihlin. their indian prata wrap.

DAY three. HUA LIAN

at yaward hotel. SLIGHTLY better hotel at hualian. one bad thing, there's almost nothing to shop around this area. JUST FRUITs.

at jiu (nine) fen (destiny) pu.

this jiu fen pu follows the japanese style of architecture.

these two dogs are the typical type of pet adopted by taiwanese. they will even bring them out to shopping. is not rare to see them on their owners' arms on a busy street.

ma zu temple.

surrounded by sea.

we are here.

at ah-mei tribe village.

i was picked for their last program. their traditional marriage ceremony. carried on a chair on my 'husband's' back. was hilarious! i cant stop laughing. in return, we paid for the photo taken by their tribe leader, it was nicely framed in a marble-photoframe.
taiwan's special artpieces on their plantation land.

saying "I LOVE YOU".
the long (dragon) mai (pulse).
DAY five. TAI CHUNG
this restaurant has very unique interior design.
the washroom.
their bowls are all specially sculpted by themselves.

the interior features.
drizzled alittle on this day. it was forecasted to rain throughout our trip but miraculously (according to our tour guide danny) we brought sunlight to taiwan. rather on the hotter side, 30-34 degree celcius. and funnily, the day we are at the airport going back to singapore, it rained heavily.
at taichung's night market.

'sandra' in feng jiu night market.
DAY six. back to Tainan.
marching with the soldiers. they march and perform stunts with their rifles everyday. we were told they've only drop their rifle twice for the past 8years.

these soldiers have to stand under the hot sun without moving. their sweat were raining all over their faces!
at ye liu di zhi gong yuan.
we left this place promptly because we started to see lightnings and wind blowing very stronggggggg~

TIAN LU. a male beast that was said to bring luck.
101 building. the tallest building in asia.
eating chuang bing.
DAY eight. taiwan hualian airport.
BACK IN SG. went for a haircut at chapter two. my fringe was killing me. as you can see, we are changing hotel everyday. to finish touring the entire taiwan in time, we have to wake up early everyday to make full use of these days in taiwan. sleep late and wake up early, you can see im TIRED. restless eyes. i like this hairstyle.
LEI: they dont sell long leggings but three-quarts type and those japanese-style long socks. almost every gurl wear like that in taiwan.
a happy news to share. my dear ling is now happily in love with her dearest boy. i would silently pray for their happiness and may they last. muacks.
