i've got myself and moi lashes more than ready for this cny!
i've permed them! did it at fave nails, citylink. ;) although the effect wasn't as satisfactory on my right eyes, because the lashes were shorter and not as obvious. but she said i can go back for a foc touch-up ;) my fringe shall does its smoke-screening job, shield my right lashes from exposure.

not quite comfortable to roll your lashes and pinned it under a long plastic stick. i could hardly open my eyes for that whole 45mins. nevertheless, i guess for its result, quite worthwhile for that intolerating 45mins! ;) for 2 nicely done curled lashes, it takes not more than 40bucks! *winks* yingying permed her lashes two days before me, hehe~ shall meet her on this friday.

on thurs, mony brought me along to concourse to get some partyware items. a fruitful trip.
went home with a few packs of this and that.
on fri, went along to spotlight with ah eun to generate more ideas for my party deco! got some other more interesting decos and our concept should rock! hehe~ all those items shan't be disclosed to keep in suspense lah huh. ;)

my left eye contact lens cracked! i regard that as e suay-est thing for yesterday!
i was cleansing my lenses with eyes almost closed, before putting them on to school. my hands, by then, felt something was about to split into two pieces. i opened my eyes and started cursing, what a way to start my monday! it's furiating lah, because unlike my other friends who are either using disposable lenses or kept one other set of colour lenses, i have none! and i was sooo not going to put on my specs to school, i discriminate that idea lah. so in the end, i went to school with blur vision and only willing to have four eyes when lecture is on.

got a pair of gold dollie shoes for cny! ;) daphie reserved a pair too, hees. we could wear together on our next date yeah. lalalaa.. *smilEs* before meeting daphie, i've got myself a pair of skirt and wallet from esprit! hees, finally accumulated enough points to get a priviledge card there! 10% off is better than nothing mah, hehee.

got myself a bad news and a good news.
bad news: 22nd feb i do have classes! and it's my report submission date too! i will forgo that and get my classmates to submit on my behalf. 23rd feb, i'm also having class, but luckily it's in the noon.
good news: both project submission dates ain't as near as i thought. one is on 22nd feb and the other is on 2nd/3rd march. hurrays~

peowpeow is gonna get me a trial lens for my left side. but my eye presciption seems odd so hopefully he can get it and make me a pretty gurl during cny! thanks sweeetie.

so stressed so stressed so stressed! this literature-alike review is my first project. on the same deadline week, i've another project to submit too.
and you know what?! the review is snatching my every breathing space on this day afternoon, which was supposed to be spent carefreely.. ;(

but i'm so proud of myself! sorry if i sounded conceited but i thought it wasn't easy to understand the major theories of management and what's more to paraphrase it in a interactive topic created on my own. alot of research work is already tedious enough, the burden adds on when i've to gain full comprehension in the way they demonstrated their writings. and i've accomplished my objective for the day that is to list out the main pts of this darn literature review! ;) *a pat on my shoulder* have to continue digesting the second last chapter later

tomorrow more shopping will be done! hees along with daphie, to get myself into cny mood. it's weird, i'm not into any festive mood yet. i used to be like a small kid who will love cny because i will have pretty clothings, food, angbaos! and also, seeing my longtime-no-see cousins and relatives. but this year, perhaps i've really grown up, i no longer yearns so desperately for cny to come fast. even if there is a reason for that, it will be "i need more holiday break".

feeling very sucky right now.

was very much in a delighted mood this entire day until someone clouded my night after a nonconclusive conversation. how not unusual i would say. but i can't comprehend why do we always have to spoil the happie momentum after it has been maintained for a few days? and the topics that never fail to create friction remain to be those few. the truth that we might be really incompatible in mental thoughts and all differentiating views is bringing me endless sighs.

"why can't things be simplified?", this intermittent question haunts me.

hees! passed my final theory evaluation test! ;) this time it's 98%, got one question wrong. it's not as difficult as what most people warned me. the biggest hurdle is the tp driving test loh, what's theory test?! stepping stones to success, gosh i'm excited! oh btw, i'm taking manual car, not auto!! junie actually thought i was taking auto! kekeee..

i gotta rush on my project now! 7more chapters to digest!

just came back from bbdc. whooooosh! i drove a car round the circuit!! i'm driving driving driving..gosh, as i flashed back, this worthy experience brings together raced pulse, cold hands and sweaty palms. there will be more to come. tomorrow shall be my 2nd practical training. then due to schedule limitation, i can only resume by 6th feb. *getting excited and impatient*

our '3359' came in 2nd prize from 4D! hahaa, thanks daph for sms-ing me else i don't think i will ever know. hmmm, i don't read newspaper. *ahem* 3359 became lucky digit combination because of our get-together? god knows. ;)

yesterday was mony's 21st birthday!! ;) it was sucha blast!!

her house was already flooded with so many of her guests by the time me and peow reached. the international buffet, her specially requested chocolate fondew birthday cake, spray cans, wines, cans of beer, her grandma's specialty dish, bbq satays barbequed by her ( how honoured, haha), jellies, mango pudding, laughters, indian poker, pressies, angbaos, sptc family, mahjong mahjong mahjong (our major change of interest)...... ;) i've had fun, so did the birthday gurl monica yang.

we gave her an addidas tee, an addidas skirt and an addias bag! haha so typical of what tennis peeps will give huhhhhh..~~ we did consider whether she could fit into the tee and skirt, because her build is reallly tweeeny small. but i guess, shouldn't be a prob since addidas is one of her favourite sports brand, the size S should be good enough. =)

today, my first marketing lecture/tutorial for this week, as well as, this semester. we've got a pretty hilarious indian doctorate lecturer from australia RMIT university, mr. raju selyen. he's better looking than the previous history of management thoughts' lecturer! just by the module title, you can perceive what sorta lecturer you will get lah huh.. like what my classmate was commenting, our eyes won't be that soreeee..haha~ his speech was delivered in a much much more relaxed, comprehensive and candid manner. there were several times, the whole class was laughing out loud. ;) oh yah, marketing is my specialised module and is the only module that has tutorial context. by the end of today's class, i know something. i've definitely made a correct option for specialising in marketing. i'm lovin' it!~ ;)

and i'm gonna real piang for my driving course. though jh said i won't be able to get it so SOON, because he forsees me passing my tp practical at 2nd attempt!! heys that's an insult! i will work hard, not for your sarcastic remarks, but for my precious sake!

when you're busy, when things are picking up, i just can't help to float in the air..i'm feeling excellent! keep this sensation within me.

i've passed my TP theory test! heess.. with 100%!! ;)
practice makes perfect, very true.

the very first person i communicated with right after my test was obviously my peow. i was so eager to share this piece of good news with him, want him to share my joy. hearing his voice, i know calling was absolutely a right choice. called him minutes before the test, in his words, i could sense his concern. my test was over, he returned my missed call and sounded really happie for me. in his sms, he mentioned if i were to pass he's gonna give me a pressie! but your earnest encouragement is already my best present, if you are oblivious of that, dearie.

i can finally start with my practical driving!! i'm excited and equally tense up. holding on to steering wheel and stepping on accelarator, as well as, coordinating with the clutch pedal, gears and brake. it's not easy, but i told myself i can do it and i will do it. :)

this saturday is mony's 21st birthday! her big day! knowing how much her dress, that she is gonna put on, cost really makes me went wowww-ing. it's $388!! for ax dress, i guess it's a norm to fetch such prices. wonder how does it looks like, kekee..

scene: 8 mahjong addicts, two tables, two sets of tiles & chips.

the 4 players who were "bullet-train passengers", they started their game first before osk and clement arrive. by the time they were here, they had already finish playing 2.5 rounds. the other 4 players, which include me, were "mrt passengers" who have finally finally finish 2sets of 4 rounds by 8.15 in the morning. oh~ we started at 11 last night, fyi. i can't help bursting into laughter as i acknowledged how slowww we were! and that's why our table was labelled as the "mrt passengers". simply we were much much slower than the "bullet-train passengers" who have nearly completed 3sets of 4 rounds, under the same circumstance. perhaps overlook the started earlier part. admit it, WE WERE SLOW slow slow.

anyways i just wanna share with you guys this corny joke.

scenario: someone has just "ate" or "pong".
somebody: *sigh*
jintong: "....this is life...." -- telling that somebody to take it easy.
peow: "..what this is life??! this is mahjong lah.."

*kept laughing upon hearing this conversation*

at this point of time, lethargy should have lead me to bed.. but ironically, i'm not as tired as how the routine always goes, after overnight mahjong SLEEP. here i am, still typing away..

i've not started with my very first project. once i get hold of my textbook from my classmate, i must, i mean really MUST, be a conscientious student. gotta read from chapter 1 to 10, digest, summarise, do up a framework diagram, find additional references..... only bonus will be the exemption of chapter 5. ;( not quite encouraging though.

my peow said i was drunk! anyways, i don't know how true it is 'coz i can't remember a single thing after i was at his placeee..but i was grateful to have you around honey.. he was sweet enough to remove my contact lens for me, puts warm towel over me and coax me to sleeep. ;)
